  18. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk Vendors and
  19. Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the Name That State for Windows
  20. version 4.5w package.

  31.                          Distribution Requirements

  34. Individuals who wish to distribute the Name That State for Windows
  35. (NTS) package to friends or associates may do so in accordance with
  36. the restrictions outlined in LICENSE.TXT.
  37.  
  38. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the NTS package to
  39. their disk library may do so in accordance with the Distribution
  40. Restrictions listed below.

  42. Limited Distribution License:

  45. As the exclusive copyright holder for NTS, Fast Accurate Computer
  46. Technologies, Inc. (FACTs) authorizes distribution only in accordance
  47. with the following restrictions.
  48.  
  49. ASP Approved Vendors in good standing are hereby given permission to
  50. distribute NTS package.  Non-ASP member vendors must request
  51. permission prior to distributing this package.
  52.  
  53. The NTS package is defined as containing all the material listed
  54. in the PACKING.LST text file.  If any files listed in the PACKING.LST text
  55. file, or the PACKING.LST file itself, are missing, then the package is not
  56. complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please contact us to obtain a
  57. complete package suitable for distribution.

  59. The NTS package - including all related program files and
  60. documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be distributed
  61. as a complete package, without exception.  The PACKING.LST text file
  62. contains a list of all files that are part of the NTS package.
  63.  
  64. Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  65. batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.
  66.  
  67. No price or other compensation may be charged for the NTS
  68. package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the diskette,
  69. shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does not exceed
  70. US$8.00 in the U.S. and Canada, or US$12.00 internationally.

  72. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  74. The NTS package CANNOT be sold as part of some other inclusive
  75. package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software packaging
  76. offer, without a written agreement from FACTs.

  78.    ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the NTS package
  79.    as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM
  80.    package) may do so provided that all the other restrictions are met.

  82.    Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute the
  83.    NTS package as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk
  84.    set, or a CD-ROM package) must obtain permission from FACTs
  85.    prior to beginning such a distribution.

  87.    If you wish to add any of our programs to a CD-ROM or other collection,
  88.    please check the release date of the version you have.  If the version
  89.    is over twelve (12) months old then please contact us to ensure that you
  90.    have the most current version.

  92. The PRINTED User's Guide may not be reproduced in whole or in part, using
  93. any means, without the written permission of FACTs.  In other
  94. words, the disk-based documentation may not be distributed in PRINTED
  95. (hard copy) form.
  96.  
  97. The NTS package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to others.
  98.  
  99. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, or other
  100. literature which describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".  Shareware is
  101. "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.
  102.  
  103. FACTs prohibits the distribution of outdated versions of the
  104. NTS package, without written permission from FACTs.
  105. If the version you have is over twelve (12) months old, please contact us
  106. to ensure that you have the most current version. 
  107.  
  108. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  109. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program
  110. except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall
  111. result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.
  112.  
  113. U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the U.S.
  114. Government of the computer software and documentation in this package shall
  115. be subject to the restricted rights applicable to commercial computer
  116. software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in Technical
  117. Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The
  118. Contractor/manufacturer is Fast Accurate Computer Technologies, Inc., P.O. Box 1959,
